A NOTE; You are very welcome to join us on our creative walks. You don't have to paint or take photos but we'd like it if you did. More importantly, you must realise that whilst out and about you are responsible for yourself. If you don't feel like you can walk at a decent pace (approx. 2.5 miles per hour for 3 or 4 hours) then please don't come. Thanks.
Saturday 20th March - Otford, near Shoreham/Sevenoaks Meet at the public car park in Otford Village at 10.30am.
Saturday 24th April - The Selling 'Turn Left' Walk Meet in front of Selling Village train station, near Canterbury/Faversham, at 10am. We'll head down the road, take the first left footpath, and go from there, turning left all the way until we end up back where we started, or so far away that we have to think about returning.
Sunday 2nd May - East Kent/Stour River Meet in Grove Ferry Picnic Site car park at 10.30am. 6 mile walk, stopping for lunch at The Gate Inn at Marshside. Saturday 19th June - Riverside Country Park, Rainham Walk via the shoreline to Motney Hill, then back via Berengrave nature reserve. Meet at Riverside car park, 10am. Maximum of 15 people.
Saturday 26th June - Elmley Marshes Meet at Kings Hill Farm, Elmley Marshes (signposted off the Sheppey Road, take the old crossing bridge and you'll see the turning on your right) at 10am. Maximum of 15 people.
Saturday 10th July - Eynsford Meet outside the pub just over Eynsford bridge (a few miles north of Shoreham) at 9.30am. From here we'll walk the Darent Valley as far as the lavender fields, which should be in full bloom at this time.
